The Moment
2010
Handmade artist book, photographs, drawing, plastic, water and acrylic tank

The Moment explores the shifting nature of memory and the distance between an experience and what remains of it.
Family photographs and everyday images are blurred, fragmented and redrawn across the pages of a handmade book. Wrapped in transparent material and suspended in water, the book remains visible but cannot be opened or fully accessed.
The work considers how memories can become both clearer and more elusive over time — held, altered and continually reconstructed through the act of remembering.
