Photographic images on silk and paper, fine pins, desk and chair

365 Seconds explores time and the ephemeral beauty of everyday experience.. The photographs were taken spontaneously on my phone, capturing small, self-contained moments from daily life. Each image holds a particular moment in time and space, while also suggesting a presence beyond the photograph — someone moving through, noticing and experiencing the world.
I experimented with different printing surfaces, considering weight, texture, transparency, lightness and touch. After testing various papers and fabrics, I chose silk for its delicate, tactile quality and its sense of fragility and movement.

The work took two different forms. In one installation, the photographs were printed on silk and attached directly to the wall with fine pins. In another, the images were printed on paper and arranged in a calendar format, stacked on a desk with a chair. Viewers were invited to sit and move through the images one by one.
Each presentation creates a different encounter with time: one allows the images to be experienced together in space, while the other asks the viewer to move through them gradually, one moment at a time.
